OT: Friend going to Japan

I have a friend going to Tokyo in a few weeks. I was wondering if this would be a good opportunity to pick something up for the ride. Any suggestions?

I imagine it would have to be something small. And I would have to be sure it would work here. I was considering V-AFC, but i could use some english instructions with it.

I have a 99 Civic Si w/ a jackson kit boosting 6psi, moving to 8psi soon. Any suggestions?

Unless your friend has personal connections and contacts there that gets him deals, I doubt you would find any significant savings and in many instances things may be more expensive. You will have to deal with all of the other issues such as warranty, instructions in Japanese, etc. that you mentionand don't forget you have to deal with customs and doing it the legitimate way is not cheap given tariffs on new automotive components.
